Wisdom in Proverbs
I’m so excited about this new Bible Study: Wisdom in Proverbs! Admittedly, it’s going to be more like a devotional than a full Bible Study, but my hope is that it brings great encouragement to you as you dig in to learn more about wisdom — what it is, what it looks like… what it isn’t.
For the month of July, we’re going to walk through the book of Proverbs… that’s right, the entire book of Proverbs! It seemed fitting that there are 31 Proverbs and 31 Days in the month of July. I hope this doesn’t feel too overwhelming to you. It’s my desire to help you dig into God’s Word in practical ways that meet you where you are at. If reading all of Proverbs seems too big for you to start, then just focus on the Key Verse that I will post on Instagram every day this month. Use that as a short devotional time to help you stay consistent in keeping God’s Word at the forefront of your mind and your heart this month.
If you are ready to dig into the entire book of Proverbs, then I would encourage you to start by doing a little bit of background reading to prepare you for your study. 31 Proverbs in 31 Days
This study of Proverbs is going to take place mostly on Instagram, so make sure that you are following us (@bespokegrace) to get some daily encouragement and wisdom from the book of Proverbs all month! Each day we will post a key verse from that day’s chapter in Proverbs, along with some brief encouragement and one or two questions to help you process and apply what you are learning about wisdom to your own life.
If you want to dig even deeper and study each chapter of Proverbs more in depth each day, check out our resources below to help give you more context on the book of Proverbs. You can also use the Bible Study Worksheet resource linked above to help you walk through each chapter every day of our study.
Whether you choose to just follow along on Instagram every day, or you decide to dig deeper and do an Inductive study of Proverbs, it is my prayer that by the end of July, you will have a more full understanding of what wisdom is (and what it is not!) and will find some practical and tangible ways to put this wisdom into action in your life!
